The National Performing Arts Championship 2023 was organized by the Performing Arts Association of India and the Goa State Performing Arts Association at Sant Sohirobanath Ambiye Government College, Nagzor, Goa on 20 and 21 May. Rajnikanth Thakur, General Secretary of the National Union and Sudesh Salgaonkar, President of the Goa State Union told that 225 best artists from Jammu&Kashmir, Leh Ladakh, Punjab, Himachal, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Uttarakhand, Bihar, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu participated in this national competition.
To encourage the participation, Goa Tourism, IT Minister Rohan Khaunte, Vice President of National Performing Arts Association Prakash Sinha, National Singing Unit President Seema Agarwal, Team India Manager Gurvinder Kaur were present as chief guests. South film choreographer Tarun Kumar, international singing winner Sriraksha, international dancing super mom Sapna Yadav, Vinita Goyal, and Suraj Jadhav played an important role in the jury.
All the winning players have been selected for the International Championship to be held on 26, 27 June 2023 at Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, Nepal.
