KAMAT REITERATE DEMAND FOR EARLY ASSEMBLY SESSION
PANAJI: Leader of the Opposition Digambar Kamat on Wednesday reiterated his demand for early Goa assembly session to discuss the issue of coal handling by the Mormugao Port Trust (MPT).
Reacting to the statement made by Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant that the government will not allow MPT to exceed coal import more than 14 million ton per annum, Kamat said, “Let Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant accept my demand for convening immediate Assembly session and let us pass a resolution on capping of coal handling at Mormugao Port. Let all 40 MLAs walk the talk to protect the identity of Goa and the environment. #OnlyGoalSayNoToCoal #SaveMollemFromDestruction
