Goenchea Ramponkarancho Ekvott along with traditional fishermen organizations demanded  fishing ban should be extended to ninety days from  sixty days as monsoon fishing ban will come into force from June 1. Addressing press conference along with traditional fishermen leader Custodio D’souza, Goenchea Ramponkarancho Ekvott general secretary Olencio Simoes  asked fisheries director to call back all fishing trawlers  from deep sea back  on jetties before  monsoon fishing ban  as rampant  illegalities going on in deep sea and warned  department  that  the traditional fishermen will take law into their hands if found outside trawlers found fishing into deep sea.
