The accused started advertising in local news papers as regards to job available abroad. They started collecting money and passport from Goans who are in need of job on pretext of providing job. Later when they received money, they started giving various reasons for delay
The accused lady is suspected to have a Nigerian accomplice who is her husband and it is suspected that there are many such Goans duped by the accused. It could be larger game of Nigerian fake job racket, matter is being investigated
Upon information, old Goa police reached in advance to the place where accused lady was suppose to come to collect money on pretext of providing job. On sensing presence of Police, she tried to run away. Wherein she was caught in a chase. Her Nigerian accomplice managed to run away during this chase.
