“ Kamakshi Mate Tuzo Jai Jaikar” released
June 16, 2023: Member of Legislative Assembly Shri Digambar Kamat released new konkani Bhakti geet, “Kamakshi Mate Tuzo Jai Jaikar” written by well known konkani lyricist Shri John Aguiar at a simple function in the chamber of Shri Kamat at Assembly Complex Porvorim in the distinguished presence of Shri Shreekant Pai Bir, Chairman Vishwamukta group which owns and operates Copperleaf, Shri Manguerish Pai Raikar and Shri Sanchin Pai Bir.
Speaking on the occasion Shr Kamat lauded the efforts of Shri Aguiar for writing devotional songs There was a time that hindu devotional songs were in marathi however now there is popular trend of konkani bhakti songs. He complimented Shri Aguiar for playing a major role and contributing towards this trend. Shri Shreekant Pai Bir appreciated the music and the lyrics of the songs which he said is soulful and expressed happiness that he was part of this programme. Shri Manguirish Pai Raiker also had a word of praise for the artistes and hoped that the devotional song will be liked by people specially the devotees of Devi Kamakshi.
The Singer Shri Akshay Naik said he is truly blessed to compose all these konkani devotional songs which gives him inner strength and energy to perform and compose. Shri Aguiar said he hopes to bring positive vibes through his devotional songs. These songs bring people together and makes you feel closer to God. He hoped that this song will be liked by people. He thanked Coperleaf for the support.
The song is sung by well known vocalist Shri Akshay Naik. The Music composition/arrangement/mixing is done by Shri Naik and himself and the same is recorded at Shree Mahalsa Recording studio, Savoi Verem. The DOP/Editing/Camera and drone piloting is done by Shri Uddhav Kerkar of Eye Click.
