Registered Valpoi Police Station Crime No: 31/2023 u/s 376 IPC, Section 8(2) of Goa Children’s Act, Section 4 & 8 POCSO Act and Section 66-E and 67-B of IT Act against accused person Vishnu s/o Laxman Chawan for raping and circulating obscene video of minor victim girl. During investigation, with the help of technical surveillance and informant it is revealed that accused is presently hiding at Gadak, Karnataka. Accordingly on 16/06/2023 a team was formed consisting of PSI Sarvesh Gaddi, PC-7508 Harun Shaikh and PC-6331 Sushant Gaonkar to trace the accused person Vishnu s/o Laxman Chawan and further the accused Vishnu s/o Laxman Chawan was apprehended at Gadak, Karnataka and arrested in above referred crime. Further investigation is in progress with PI Dinesh D. Gadekar of Valpoi Police Station under supervision of SDPO Bicholim Shri Sagar Ekoskar and overall supervision of Shri. Nidhin Valsan, Superintendent of Police (North), Porvorim.
