  3. Need to unite and vote BJP back to power in 2024: Cumbarjua MLA

JUNE 21, 2023 Panaji: Cumbarjua MLA and Chairman of Goa Rehabilitation Board Rajesh Faldessai called for working unitedly to get BJP back to power again in the Parliamentary elections next year. He was addressing the gathering at the Sanyukt Morcha Sammelan in Cumbharjua Constituency as a part of Sampark se Samarthan under the ongoing Maha Jansampark Abhiyan campaign to highlight the achievements during the 9 nine years of BJP government’s administration in the country. Also present were BJP State President Sadanand Shet Tanawade, Mormugao MLA Sankalp Amonkar, North Goa ZP President Siddesh Naik, and other dignitaries.

Faldessai spoke about various schemes available for the people and urged them to take maximum benefit. “Our country and state have witnessed immense development and progress. This is only because of the BJP government. People can come to my office to get more information about the schemes. I am always available for the people. Our Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working hard to make our nation prosperous. So many new projects have been inaugurated. Projects like the new Zuari Bridge, Mopa airport, Ayush hospital, etc have seen the day of light due to the BJP government. Next year, we will be witnessing the Lok Sabha elections. We must stay united and work hard to ensure BJP is voted back to power. I will ensure that BJP gets at least 25,000 votes from Cumbarjua Constituency for the elections,” he said.

Stating that BJP is the biggest organisational party in the world and the country, Tanawade said that the nation has witnessed tremendous development during the last 9 years of BJP governance. “BJP has carried out a lot of development works, and projects like the Mopa airport, Zuari bridge, Ayush Hospital, etc have not remained merely on paper. The Zuari bridge has reduced travel time. The BJP government has focussed on improving road connectivity, healthcare and providing other essential facilities for citizens. The number of airports has doubled in the country. We have focussed on boosting local production, and not relied on imports alone. Under our Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, we were able to tackle the Covid pandemic, and the vaccination programme was a huge success,” he said.

In his address, Amonkar highlighted on the various schemes and achievements of the government. “Let us bury our differences and unite in the country’s interest for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. BJP has completed numerous development schemes. The credit for the country’s progress and stature on the global platform goes to our Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” he said.
