Significant synoptic features
• The Monsoon trough at mean sea level now passes through Bikaner, Churu, Guna, Sidhi, Ambikapur, Balasore and thence southeastwards to Central Bay of Bengal.
• The east-west shear zone roughly along Lat. 15°N between 4.5 & 7.6 km above mean sea level persists.
• The off-shore trough at mean sea level now runs from south Gujarat coast to north Kerala coast.
• The cyclonic circulation over Westcentral Bay of Bengal adjoining north Andhra Pradesh coast now lies over North & adjoining Central Bay of Bengal between 1.5 & 7.6 km above mean sea level tilting southwestwards with height.

• Moderate to heavy to very heavy rain very likely at most places over North Goa & South Goa districts of the state on 05th & 06th July 2023 with intense spells & winds gusting to 50 kmph very likely
• Moderate to heavy rain very likely at most places over North Goa & South Goa districts of the state on 07th & 08th
• Light to moderate rain very likely at most places over North Goa & South Goa districts of the state on 09th July 2023

• Heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely at a few places and extremely heavy rainfall at isolated places with wind gusting to 50 kmph very likely over North Goa and South Goa districts of the state on 05th July 2023
• Heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely at a few places over North Goa and South Goa districts of the state on 06th July 2023
• Heavy rainfall very likely at a few places over North Goa and South Goa districts of the state on 07th July 2023
• Heavy rainfall very likely at isolated places over North Goa and South Goa districts of the state on 08th & 09th July 2023
