The inaugural ceremony of the Circuit Bench was conducted by lighting of the lamp at the hands of Smt Harvinder Kaur Oberoi, Judicial Member of the CAT tribunal in the premises of High Court of Bombay at Goa, Porvorim today.
The Circuit Bench proceedings were conducted today and a lot of matters were disposed of. The bench will be sitting tomorrow as well.
Smt Harvinder Kaur Oberoi, Judicial Member of the CAT Tribunal assured full support from her end and assured that she will be happy to come to Goa regularly for sittings once the infrastructure is provided for the filing and conducting of proceedings.
Sr. Adv Coelho Pereira, President of the Goa High Court Bar Association assured that he would extend full support to the Goa CAT Bar Association as also the tribunal and make all efforts to ensure that the Circuit Bench runs in Goa regularly
