Anjuna Police have arrested one accused person concerned in trafficking and prostitution case. As per SDPO Mapusa Jivba Dalvi on 08.07.2023 upon prior information, raid was conducted and one accused was caught red handed while he had come to supply a girl to a prospective customer.
The accused was identified as Mr. Deepu s/o Ram Faranm Yadav, age 25 yrs n/o Vill- Surjballi Purva, Post- Raipur, PS- Ramganj, Dist- Bairaich, Uttar Pradesh at present Resort de Crossroad, near Football Ground, calangute, Bardez Goa. An FIR under sections 370 (A) IPC & Sec 4 and 5 of Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act has been registered.
The accused person was found to be supplying the girl to customers and living on the earnings of the said girl. The rescued victim girl has been sent to Protective Home for safe custody. Further investigation is in progress with PI Prashal N. Dessai under Supervision of SP north Shivendu Bhushan IPS and Sdpo jivba Dalvi
