Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Benaulim MLA Capt. Venzy Viegas unveiled Vision Clinic at Benaulim on Saturday. The clinic has been set up in collaboration with the ASG Eye Hospitals. The clinic, located at the AAP MLA Office in Benaulim, aims to provide comprehensive eye care services to the people of Benaulim and surrounding areas. The Vision Clinic, operated by ASG Eye Hospitals, will offer a wide range of services to address various eye conditions and vision impairments. These include cataract detection, diabetic retinopathy screening, fundus evaluation (retina), glaucoma evaluation, and spectacle power assessment. Additionally, the clinic specializes in the treatment of cataract, retina, glaucoma, cornea, Q-Lasik, keratoconus, and squint disorders.

Speaking at the inauguration, Capt. Venzy Viegas, MLA of Benaulim constituency, stated, “We are delighted to collaborate with ASG Eye Hospitals and bring the Vision Clinic to our constituency. This clinic will significantly benefit the people of Benaulim by offering advanced eye care services and treatment options. Our partnership with ASG Eye Hospitals reflects the AAP’s dedication to improving the health infrastructure in the constituency.”

Adding he said, “We are proud to announce that the treatment offered at the Vision Clinic is covered under the government’s Deen Dayal Swasth Seva Yojana (DDSSY) scheme, ensuring accessibility and affordability for the residents of Benaulim. This initiative is in line with the AAP’s commitment to providing quality healthcare services to all sections of society”.

The party firmly believes that every individual should have access to high-quality medical services without financial constraints. The establishment of the Vision Clinic in Benaulim is a testament to the AAP’s commendable efforts in expanding healthcare facilities and ensuring the well-being of the community”, he said.
