Mapusa Police Station have handed over 56 Mobile Phones to its rightful owners.

As per jivba Dalvi SDPO Mapusa , on Monday i.e. on 17.07.2023 the staff of Mapusa Police handed over 56 Mobile Phones that were lost in the past 06 Months within the Jurisdiction of Mapusa Police Station.
Mapusa Police formed special team under the Supervision of PI , Mapusa Sitakant Nayak , to recover the Mobile Phones that were reported lost since last six Months. The team used Modern Technologies i.e. online CEIR portal to track down the offenders and Mapusa Police handed over 56 Mobile Phones to its owners.

Most of the phones were lost while travelling or shopping etc. They were found mostly with persons who had found them at various places, the said persons were verified too and the mobiles were taken into custody and further handed over to rightful owners
