Felicitation Program to Honor Soldiers on the 25th Anniversary of the Kargil War to be organised by Office of the State Commissioner for persons with Disabilities and Lakshya foundation. Office of the State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities,Goa and Lakshya foundation, Pune is proud to announce a special felicitation program on the momentous occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Kargil war.

State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities Shri. Guruprasad Pawaskar said that his office would like to take this opportunity to bring to fore and celebrate the resilience and talents of the gallant, serving and retired, officers and soldiers of the Indian Armed Forces who have sacrificed for the Nation and in doing so sustained a disability.

There will also be interactive sessions of nominated persons with the school children and other participants to motivate them.

Mrs. Anuradha Prabhu Desai founder of Lakshya Foundation, paid courtesy visit to Honorable Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant. During the meeting held at the secretariat, they passionately apprised the Honorable Chief Minister about the various activities carried out by Lakshya Foundation for over 15 years in support of the armed forces and their welfare. Mrs. Anuradha Prabhu Desai’s relentless dedication to the cause has been an inspiration and a driving force for the foundation’s impactful initiatives.

The felicitation program, organized in collaboration with the Laksha foundation will be a momentous occasion to remember and honor the courageous soldiers who laid down their lives during the Kargil war. The event will stand as a testament to their bravery, valor, and unwavering commitment to safeguarding our nation’s integrity.

The felicitation program will be a touching tribute to the indomitable spirit of our armed forces and promises to be a solemn yet heartwarming occasion as we pay our respects to the heroes who made the supreme sacrifice for the nation.
