Aam Aadmi Party leader, Adv. Surel Tilve, has voiced his strong concerns regarding the deplorable condition of roads in the Marcaim constituency and has called upon Power Minister Sudin Dhavlikar to take immediate action by hot mixing these roads before the Ganesh Chaturthi festival.
Tilve criticized the Power Minister for deliberately ignoring to the suffering of local residents near the Nageshi temple, despite residing a mere 200 meters from the site. Currently, the Power Department is conducting underground cabling work in the area, resulting in excessive dust that is adversely affecting the health of the local population.
In a scathing remark, Tilve stated, “The Power Minister, who also serves as the MLA of Marcaim constituency, has failed to provide adequate road infrastructure, despite having served as the PWD Minister for an extended period.”
Furthermore, Tilve revealed that the contracted work involves the obligation to sprinkle water to mitigate dust issues, as stipulated in the tender contract. However, he accused the Power Minister of corruption, alleging that these measures were not being implemented as required.
As Ganesh Chaturthi approaches, Adv. Surel Tilve and the Aam Aadmi Party urge Power Minister Sudin Dhavlikar to prioritize the timely repair and hotmixing of the roads in Marcaim constituency, ensuring the safety and well-being of its residents during this festive season.
