The Cabinet meeting of The Council of the Ministers, Government of Goa held on September 08, 2023 taken the resolution to congratulate the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) on the successful Chandrayaan 3 Mission to the moon. The State Cabinet joined in congratulating ISRO and the Government of India for the historical success.
It has been the constant and focused efforts of ISRO which ensured the landing of Chandrayaan 3 on the South Pole of the Moon. The scientific knowledge and discoveries concerning this mission shall be a boost, not only to our country but to the world community, this feat by ISRO has further reinforced our country’s determination for exploration of the universe for the betterment of humankind, stated the Cabinet in the resolution.
The cabinet has noted that with pride the contribution of our scientists, including our women scientists in the success of Chandrayaan 3 and further hoped it will motivate several others to take this profession.
The Cabinet and the State of Goa has further joined in congratulating the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modiji for his constant support and motivation to the Scientist of ISRO and other organizations involved in this mission. Cabinet stated that the leadership of our Prime Minister has helped in lifting the spirit of our scientific community and has played a vital role in the successful culmination of Mission Chandrayaan 3. The Cabinet has also congratulated all those involved in the Mission including ISRO, Eco-system of industries, academia and start-ups. The Cabinet wished ISRO all the success in their future endeavours.
