Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant inaugurated G -Tech Goa’ biggest Multiverse Technologies Expo organised by Computer Dealers Forum of Goa (CDFG) in the presence of Dr Chandrakant Shetye , MLA and Chairman Info Tech Corporation of Goa Ltd.and Shri Sankalp Amonkar,MLA Mormugao in the city today .
Speaking on the occassion Chief Minister appreciated all the exhibitors from different states for exhibiting IT Products. Such exhibition should be held in Goa atleast once a year so that people can witness and use advanced technology which are available in the market, he added.
Government is not only making continuous efforts to reached the schemes to the last person in the society but also making efforts so that various Common Citizen services of the state Government and Government of India reaches the people .
Chief Minister informing that State government is adapting IT solution regularly urged the people from IT field to visit the two day exhibition .
Dr Chandrakant Shetye addressing the function said IT is the richest industry and one of the blooming industry which has positive future.
Raising the concern that many of our Goan who has passed IT are moving out from the state for Job,Dr Shetye stated there is a need to have more of IT culture in Goa .
Shri Praveen Volvotkar Managing Director – Info Tech Corporation of Goa Ltd .Shri Simon Fernandes, President of CDFG was also present on the occassion.
Various IT product such as State of Art Computing, Security and Surveillance,Robotics, Multimedia, Cloud Computing and storage etc were on displayed for the exhibition.
