AAP LEADER VALMIKI NAIK CHALLENGES NILESH CABRAL TO A PUBLIC DEBATE ON GOVERNANCE

PANAJI: Aam Admi Party (AAP) Goa leader Valmiki Naik on Thursday challenged Power Minister Nilesh Cabral to a public debate on Delhi electricity model at any location and time of his choice.

Stating that Cabral ran away from a public debate with AAP national spokesman Raghav Chadha on electricity model of Delhi, Naik alleged that the BJP government when cornered only lies and launches personal attacks on their opponents.

Naik said Kejriwal government in Delhi also provides the people of Delhi with a lot of schemes, along with free electricity upto 200 units and 20,000 litres of free water supply, provides monthly doles of rs 2250 for the old age people, rs 2050 for widows, organizes ‘tirt yatra’  for senior citizens, diesel VAT decreased by 13%, free bus and other public transport for women, free education and 100 per cent medical treatment is provided free by the AAP government.

During COVID pandemic the government increased the monthly doles to Rs 5000 for widows, senior citizens, persons with disabilities and to unemployed construction laboures.
