CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION LIGHTS HOPE IN HEARTS OF THE CHILDREN AT REVORA

PANAJI: Children’s Rights in Goa (CRG), a child rights focused organisation observed Children’s Day on 18th November at Shree Ram Mandir, Nadora, Revora. Around 30 children from surrounding areas of Nadora and Revora participated in the event.

“We toil for protecting rights of children in all setting and children’s day celebration is an important event for sensitisation and advancing the rights of children from vulnerable settings, said Snehal Salgaonkar, Director of Children’s Right in Goa.

She conducted an interactive session with the children on the rights of children, i.e. participation, development, protection and survival.

The staff team spoke on safety measures to be considered while accessing online education and conducted few interactive games and competitions.

Revora panchayat member Datta Arondekar spoke on the role of children and the younger generation in nation building. He further stressed the needs to be focused and working together collectively for development. The social endeavour was supported by Action Aid Association.
