PLEA FOR CANCELLATION OF BAIL TO MODEL POONAM PANDEY, HER HUSBAND ADJOURNED TO DECEMBER 5
MARGAO: The Sessions Court, Margao on Saturday adjourned the hearing of the application seeking cancellation of bail granted to model and actor Poonam Pandey and her husband Sam Ahmed Bombay to December 5.
When the matter came up for hearing, applicant’s lawyer Adv D Vernekar prayed for time to place on record the certified copies of the order of bail, application for bail and say of investigating police officer of Canacona police station.
Respondents advocates C A Ferreira along with Adv D Zaveri , Adv S Kamulkar, Adv L Costa and Adv H Lourenco were present. Public prosecutor D Korgaonkar was also present when the matter came up for hearing.
Samrat Bhagat, a resident of Nagarsem, Canacona has filed a petition before the Sessions Court, Margao, seeking cancellation of bail granted to model and actor Poonam Pandey and her husband Sam Ahmed Bombay.
On November 5, the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC), Canacona granted conditional bail to Poonam Pandey and her husband Sam Ahmed after they were arrested by the Canacona police following a vulgar video of the model shot at Chapoli dam went viral on social media.
