Atal Setu, Kala Academy, National Games Infrastructure, Smart City are few examples of Monuments of Corruption created by corrupt BJP to empty State Treasury & fill the Coffers of BJP Stakeholders, charged Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao.
Strongly condemning the statement of Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant who had said that some have habit of obstructing Government Projects, Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao said that Goans have opposed Destructive Projects forcefully imposed on us to please Crony Capitalists.
It is the duty of the Government to take everyone into confidence and maintain complete transperancy while proposing any Project. BJP Government in last eleven years have created Projects of sub-standard quality as the Contractors have to pay huge kick-backs to BJP stakeholders, claimed Yuri Alemao.
Congress Governments in the past always respected sentiments of Goans and scarpped Three SEZ Projects and Regional Plan bowing before People’s Power. Congress has always cared for the emotions and aspirations of Goans, said Yuri Alemao.
BJP Government spent almost 1500 crores on Panaji Smart City, 75 Crores on Repairs of Kala Academy, 1000 Crores on National Games and 700 Crores on Atal Setu, but the Quality of Work was Worst resulting in blowing of Tin Sheets at Nehru Stadium, Fatorda, Collapse of Facade of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium, Potholes on Atal Setu, Collapse of Slab at Kala Academy and so on, pointed Yuri Alemao.
BJP Government’s National Highway Work has taken away lives of hundreds of inncocent Goans. Despite spending 12 thousand crores on Electricity Department, 65 persons and 17 animals died due to electrocution. Bunch Cabling turned out to be a scam, said Yuri Alemao.
BJP should take lessons from the verdict of Loksabha Elections. I want to categorically tell Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant that It will be New Engine Government in 2027 in Goa, said Yuri Alemao.
