ST FRANCIS XAVIER NOVENAS AT OLD GOA STARTS FROM NOVEMBER 24
PANAJI: The Novenas leading to the Feast of St Francis Xavier (SFX), Apostle of the Indies, starts from Tuesday, November 24.
This year the theme of the Novenas and feast is, “By Walking in the Footsteps of St Francis Xavier, Let us Bear Witness to Christ.”
The Novenas and feast will be telecast live in view of the COVID pandemic. Representatives of 19 deaneries will however be allowed to physically attend the specified masses.
During the novenas, the Adoration will begin at 5 am followed by novena masses at 6 am, 7 am and 8 am.
Elaborate arrangements have been made to allow devotees to physically venerate the relics of St Francis Xavier. Special Blessing with Relics of St Francis Xavier will take place at 12 noon.
