The Department of Tourism, Government of Goa, will be a key participant in the highly anticipated India Travel Mart (ITM) Amritsar, scheduled from 20th to 22nd September 2024 at Shelaton Resort, Albert Road, INA Colony, Amritsar, Punjab. This significant event will bring together travel industry leaders and stakeholders from across the nation, providing Goa Tourism with a strategic platform to showcase the state’s distinctive tourism offerings.
At ITM Amritsar, Goa Tourism will present its vibrant cultural diversity, stunning landscapes, and innovative new tourism offerings and experiences, with a particular focus on sustainable and regenerative tourism. The pavilion will highlight key initiatives such as hinterland exploration, heritage conservation, wellness tourism including ayurveda and the promotion of spiritual tourism, MICE and wedding destination, all aimed at benefiting local communities and preserving the environment.
Visitors will also be introduced to unique experiences, including Goa’s Ekadasha Teertha Circuit, a spiritual trail encompassing 11 historic temples, and the much-anticipated Exposition of St. Francis Xavier, set to take place from 21st November 2024 to 5th January 2025 at the iconic Basilica of Bom Jesus. Interactive exhibits will further illustrate Goa’s efforts to promote responsible tourism while preserving its rich cultural heritage.
