MARGAO: Lokvishwas Pratishthan, Ponda won the top prize for their inspiring performance at the Drama Indian Sign Language (ISL) competition

Organized by the Department for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities and the State Commission for Persons with Disabilities, in collaboration with the Goa Association of the Deaf (GAD) at Ravindra Bhavan Conference Hall, Margao  to celebrate the International Day of Sign Language (IDSL) and the International Week of the Deaf People (IWDP).

Gujarati Samaj Educational Trust, Margao and  Xavier’s Academy, Old Goa secured first and second runner-up positions, respectively, showcasing the incredible talent and creativity of Deaf children. The competitions were judged by Rahul Kunkolienkar and Lakhan Ana.
