GIRISH USKAIKAR APPOINTED PRESIDENT OF BJP GOA OBC MORCHA
PANAJI: Merces village panchayat member and senior BJP worker Girish Uskaikar was on Thursday appointed as State President of party’s Other Backward Classes (OBC) Morcha.
Announcing his appointment, BJP State President Sadanand Shet Tanavade said that with Uskaikar’s appointment, the Goa BJP had appointed chiefs of all seven Morchas (wings) of the party.
Tanavade said that Uskaikar will soon constitute his State executive committee.
Uskaikar thanked the party for appointing him as President of BJP’s State OBC Morcha and said that he will tour all 40 Assembly constituencies and work for the welfare of 19 communities listed in State OBC list.
BJP State general secretary Damodar ‘Damu’ Naik was also present.
