MP VINAY TENDULKAR VISITS MARGAO KABRASTAN, ASSURES MPLAD FUNDS
MARGAO: Rajya Sabha MP Vinay Tendulkar on Thursday visited Margao kabrastan and assured members of Jama Masjid committee and Anjuman to solve the pending issues faced by the Muslim community.
Tendulkar assured them to construct compound wall and electrification around the kabrastan through MPLAD funds. He also assured them that he will take up long pending issue of a new Kabrastan with Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant.
Urfan Mulla, who recently joined BJP said that the new Kabrastan for Margao was one of his demands when he joined the BJP. He also said that a hearse van and a morgue were required for Muslim community in Margao.
