INDIAN ARMY’S CORE VALUES OF DUTY, HONOUR AND COURAGE
PONDA: Brigadier Harsh Bhatia, Commandant of the 2 Signal Training Centre, Ponda extended his congratulations to the Agniveers for their achievement and urged them to uphold the Indian Army’s core values of duty, honour and courage.
Brigadier Harsh Bhatia was addressing during the passing out parade of graduation of fourth batch, consisting of 401 Agniveers at a function held at 2 Signal Training Centre, Ponda on Friday.
The Passing Out Parade of Agniveers represents a pivotal achievement, signifying the culmination of their extensive training as to date, a total of 1,771 Agniveers have successfully completed their training at this esteemed institution.
The Agniveers participated in a rigorous 21-week program of Advanced Military Training, which encompassed both theoretical and practical components. This training was designed to provide them with the essential skills and knowledge required to become adept warriors.
The passing out parade serves not only as a celebration of the Agniveers’ success but also as the commencement of their journey within the Indian Army. It is a moment of immense pride for the Agniveers, their families, and the nation as a whole.
The top honors were awarded to Agniveer Chhatra Pal Singh for first place in order of merit, followed by Anil Kempanna Manganvi in second place, and Agniveer Bhushan Dattatray Patel, who was recognized as the Best Sportsman.
The event was effectively coordinated by Colonel Neeraj Nautiyal, Commanding Officer of 6 TTR at the Military Camp in Ponda, Goa, along with Lieutenant Colonel Hemant K Soni, Lieutenant Colonel Arun Singh, Lieutenant Colonel Narasimha Prabhu M, and Subedar Major Mahendra Singh.
