VASCO: Vasco MLA Krishna Daji Salkar has assured Shantinagar residents that no houses will be damaged during the ongoing railway track doubling work.
Amid construction progressing at full speed, residents voiced concerns about potential damage to their homes due to the proximity of the railway tracks. Accompanied by Ward Councillor Shraddha Mahale Shetye, the residents highlighted their fears to the MLA.
Salkar promptly visited the site, assured residents their properties would remain safe, and directed railway officials to work in coordination with the locals to prevent any harm. His intervention has brought relief to the community, ensuring safety alongside progress.
