Erica and Giovanna de Sequeira Make Goa Proud with Stellar Performance

14-year-old Erica J de Sequeira won the silver medal in the Girls -50 kg (No-GI) category, demonstrating her elite technique and resilience. Her younger sister, 10-year-old Giovanna de Sequeira, secured a silver medal in the Girls (NO-GI)-32 kg category, showcasing her remarkable talent and competitive spirit.

The siblings, who train under the expert guidance of International Coach Ronnyy (Raunak Singh), credited their coach’s dedication and advanced coaching techniques for their success.

This victory is a testament to the hard work and discipline of the athletes and coaching team, reflecting their commitment to excellence in the sport.

Interestingly, Giovanna was inspired to take up the sport by her elder sister, Erica, who has participated in 15 international championships.

The de Sequeira siblings’ achievement has brought pride to the state of Goa, and their success is expected to inspire other young athletes to take up the sport.
