CM  HOLDS FINANCE REVIEW MEETING

PANAJI:  Chief Minister Dr  Pramod Sawant chaired a comprehensive Finance Review Meeting with Secretaries and Heads of Departments (HoDs) in preparation for the upcoming visit of the 16th Finance Commission to the state.

Sawant  informed that the meeting focused on assessing the financial progress of key departments, reviewing revenue generation, departmental expenditure, and the status of ongoing infrastructure projects across Goa.

He also mentioned that detailed deliberations were held on proposals and key demands to be presented to the 16th Finance Commission, ensuring alignment with the state’s development priorities and financial needs.

Sawant  said that this review meeting aimed to consolidate Goa’s position and secure adequate support for its infrastructural and economic growth, emphasizing strategic planning and efficient resource allocation.
