GOA POLICE FOOTBALL TEAMS HELD

PANAJI: The Goa Police Sports Cell, in partnership with the Ujala (Hooda) Foundation, conducted a closing session for the U13 and U15 Goa Police Football teams.

During this event, Aran Hooda from the Ujala Foundation, alongside DGP Goa Alok Kumar, DIGP Goa Ajay Sharma, South Goa SP Sunita Sawant, DYSP Shivram Vaigankar, PI Raia Naik, and Ujala Foundation members Sandip Hooda, Rina Hooda, and Sanjay Sharma, presented letters of appreciation and provided kits and playing materials to the young, talented athletes.

Two exceptional players, Terrance Paul Rebello (U15) and Alister Fernandes (U13), were acknowledged for their potential and the opportunity for further development at a higher level.

In his motivational address, DGP Alok Kumar emphasized the importance of fitness, discipline, and fostering a sportsman spirit on the field, wishing the aspiring footballers a successful future. SP Sunita Sawant expressed gratitude to DGP Alok Kumar for his ongoing support and encouragement of Goa Police Sports, while also commending the Ujala Foundation for their commitment to nurturing young talent.
