PANAJI: Chief Minister Dr  Pramod Sawant witnessed the historic signing of a groundbreaking Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Harvard University, represented by Dr Dominic Mao and Dr Andrea Wright, and the Government of Goa. CM informed that this collaboration aims to launch transformative educational programs to enhance and empower public schools in Goa, providing significant benefits to underprivileged students.

CM further mentioned that the initiative, Program for Scientifically-Inspired Leadership (PSIL), serves as a dynamic platform bringing together three distinct groups: Harvard University college students, who will take on the role of instructors; college students from Goa, who will act as instructor fellows; and higher secondary school students from public schools under the Education Department of Goa, who will participate as the primary beneficiaries of the program.

CM also stated that this partnership symbolizes a powerful step towards fostering academic excellence, leadership development, and equitable opportunities for all.
