MORPILA: PM Shri GHS Morpirla launched save Wetlands Campaign with the objective to create awareness about the importance of wetlands conservation and management while actively involving local communities in the integrated management and monitoring of wetlands and to join hands to save the degrading wetlands.
All the students and teachers took wetland mitra pledge, visited a wetland to learn about economical and ecological importance of wetlands. A poster competition, dance and signing was organised as part of the campaign. The students were informed that ten additional water bodies in Goa are declared as wetlands.
