KERI: JCI Panaji successfully organized a three-day theatre workshop from January 20th to 22nd at Vivekanand Dyan Mandir High School in Keri-Sattari.  

The workshop was facilitated by JC Vinay Gawas, who serves as the Director of Growth & Development at JCI Panaji.

The event attracted enthusiastic participation from over 200 children, who engaged in practical learning across various theatre disciplines, such as lighting techniques, dialogue delivery, facial expressions, eye contact, hand gestures, stage presence, and costume design.

The interactive nature of the sessions fostered a profound appreciation for traditional theatre arts among the participants. The inauguration of the workshop was graced by Gopinath Vishnu Gawas, the Principal of Vivekanand Dyan Mandir High School, whose attendance underscored the importance of the event.

This initiative was designed to motivate young individuals to delve into the rich cultural heritage of theatre and to ensure its continuation for future generations.

The organizing team for the workshop included JCI Panaji  president Sandeep Kerkar,  Secretary  Srushti Lotlikar Nagvekar and  Project Director Bhushan Joshi.

The workshop proved to be a remarkable success, leaving a significant impact on the children and rekindling their interest in the traditional art of theatre.
