
NEW DELHI: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant attended the 27th Meeting of the Western Zonal Council, chaired by Union Minister for Home Affairs & Cooperation Amit Shah, in the presence of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Administrator of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu Prafull Patel, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, along with ministers and officials in Pune.
The meeting featured in-depth discussions on key developmental priorities in the Western Zone, covering infrastructure, education, healthcare, and other critical sectors aimed at fostering regional growth and collaboration.
CM also had the opportunity to share best practices implemented by Goa, presenting the state’s successful Solid Waste Management model, highlighting its impact, and outlining the roadmap for future advancements in sustainable waste management.
