ZUARINAGAR: TMC convenor Marian D’Souza, along with residents of Velsao-Pale, demanded the immediate removal of barricades placed by a private builder, allegedly blocking access to a historically significant Holy Cross.

Protestors accused the builder of restricting traditional routes from Bellem-Velsao to Zuarinagar, obstructing entry to religious sites, private properties, and public roads. They vowed to continue their agitation with or without government intervention, warning of intensified protests if their demands were ignored.

The protest follows a similar outrage over restricted access to the Zuarinagar post office, which forced the Postmaster to operate outside the gated premises.
