Rally against Naushim Marina on 7th November
PANAJI: Villagers of Naushim and anti-marina protagonists, will hold a rally from Dona Paula to Sant Andre on 7th November, 4 pm onwards. The purpose is to create awareness about the dangers of the marina proposed at Naushim. This will be followed by a meeting near Siridao panchayat, on 8th November at 4 pm. The marina project is not only dangerous to the ecology but is not feasible there. It is also a threat to national security since the Marina is within a 10-kilometer distance of the arms depot. They called Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant to visit Naushim and discuss with the villagers about the feasibility of the project.
