and other faculty members including Gents and Ladies of Goa University. Around 200 girls students attended the program.
Shri. Nidhin Valsan SP North, IPS briefed the students on women safety measures, steps to be taken, how to tackle the problems face by the women’s.
Further the students were briefed regarding about eve teasing and sexual harassment and they were explained about what are the measures and precaution to be taken during such situations . Further, all students were explained about various section of IPC relating to crime against women.
Shri. Nidhin Valsan, SP North has given valuable guidance and also shared his experiences and Fruitful information was provided to students, which are very important in to their day-to-day life.
Also Demonstration on self defence techniques by Coach Siraj Khan and his team showed to the Students.
Their grievances and questioner were heard and suitable solution given on their grievances .
Students have been motivated to come forward and report the incident if any comes into their day to day life to take immediate action. They have been provided with the help line number, number women’s police station, Pink Force, PCR, Local Police Station.
