  3. PROBE FIRE AT RESIDENCE OF LATE ADV. PRASAD KIRTANI DEMANDS AIRES

Adv. Aires Rodrigues has today demanded a thorough inquiry into yesterday’s raging fire at the residence of late Adv. Prasad Kirtani in Alto Santa Cruz.

Demanding that the culprits behind this mischievous arson should be brought to book, Adv. Rodrigues has stated that the probe must zero in on the builder who in total violation of law is constructing a monstrous building next door which has been rightly opposed by the Kirtani family.

Adv. Rodrigues has further stated that Town & Country Planning Minister Vishwajit Rane should promptly act against his corrupt officials who are conveniently turning a Nelson’s eye to this scandalous construction illegality.

Adv. Rodrigues has also stated that yesterday’s fire had caused huge financial loss to the State exchequer as underground power cables in the locality were all gutted.

Expressing deep concern over the recent setting of fires in Goa, Adv. Rodrigues stated that it was a worrisome trend which could see Goa heading to a state of total breakdown in law and order.
