RATION AND HYGIENE KITS DISTRIBUTED TO NEEDY PEOPLE IN PANAJI

PANAJI: Rotary Club Panaji Mid-Town in association with the Finolex Industries LTD and its CSR partner Mukul Mahadhav Foundation distributed essentials packages to 115 yellow and black motorcycle pilots and autorickshaw drivers from Panaji and Taleigao.

Talking to Prime Media TV, Mahesh Dessai, State Head of Finolex Industries said that their CSR project ‘Give With Dignity’ helped 115 families of motorcycle pilots and autorickshaw drivers who were in need of basic necessities, because of COVID pandemic. 

Rotary Club of Panaji Mid-Town president Yatin Parekh thanked the Finolex Industries LTD and its CSR partner Mukul Mahadhav Foundation for their initiative and helping the people who livelihood was affected due to COVID pandemic.

Mahesh Desai spoke more about the `Give With Dignity’ initiative and how the foundation with support from Finolex Industries Ltd is helping and feeding thousands of Indian households in coping up with the difficulties during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Give With Dignity is an initiative to feed over three lakh individuals and 70,000 households across India. In Goa, ration and hygiene kits will be given to 500 individuals, Desai informed.

Suresh Thakur, President of Goa Motorcycle Taxi Riders Association said that motorcycle taxi riders faced a lot of problems due to the pandemic. Rotary Club of Panaji Mid-Town secretary Rajiv Shirodkar also spoke.
