Extending Condolences to the bereaved families, Amarnath Panjikar alleged that the drowning incident once again exposed that Beach Safety Contract is a Scam of the Tourism Department.
Congress Party has time and again exposed the Beach Safety & Lifguards Contract Scam and Beach Cleaning Contract Scam. The incident at Keri Beach has proved that the Contractors have not deployed enough Lifeguards on the beaches, claimed Amarnath Panjikar.
We demand that High-Level Inquiry should be conducted on the incident along with an Audit of the Manpower and equipment engaged by the Beach Safety Contractor. This will prove how the public money is looted at the cost of human lives, Amarnath Panjikar stated.
