Goa’s Pride Clinches 5 Medals, Sets New National Meet Record

Goa Sports Council of the Deaf extends its heartfelt congratulations to Shri Aahil Sheikh for his stellar performance at the XXVI National Deaf Senior Swimming Championship 2025. The prestigious event, organized by the All India Sports Council of the Deaf and hosted by the Kerala Sports Council of the Deaf, took place at the Jimmy George Sports Hub Swimming Pool, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, from March 26th to 29th, 2025.

Aahil Sheikh showcased his exceptional talent and unwavering dedication by securing a total of five medals—four gold and one bronze—while also setting a New National Meet Record (NMR). His remarkable achievements include:

Gold – 1500m Freestyle

Gold – 800m Freestyle

Gold – 400m Freestyle

Gold – 200m Freestyle (New National Meet Record)

Bronze – 100m Butterfly
