The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) welcomes the recent decision of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) to include Konkani in the Goa Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) examination. This is an important and progressive decision that boosts the hopes and aspirations of the youth of Goa. CAPF exam is conducted for the recruitment of candidates in various forces like the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), and Armed Forces. Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), and National Security Guard (NSG). The inclusion of the Konkani language in the CAPF exam will give Konkani-speaking youth a better chance to join CAPF and contribute to national security.

ABVP Goa Convener Dhanashree Mandrekar said, “The Home Ministry’s decision to include Konkani in the CAPF exam is a great opportunity for the youth of Goa. This decision is in line with the efforts made to make language not a barrier for the youth of our country. Those who want to serve the country. It is a powerful step that will provide equal opportunities to our youth to fulfil their dreams and aspirations.”

ABVP North Goa Convener Sudip Naik said, “The decision to include the Konkani language in the CAPF exam is a testament to the diversity of our country. It is a laudable step to provide a platform for the youth of Goa to serve the country in CAPF. This will not only promote linguistic diversity but also provide equal opportunities for eligible candidates. will create opportunities.”

South Goa Convener, Pawanraj Sawant Desai said, “Inclusion of Konkani language in the CAPF exam will give Konkani-speaking youth an opportunity to fulfil their dream of serving the country in CAPF. This is an important step towards promoting linguistic diversity and ensuring equal opportunities for every eligible candidate.”
