Agacaim Police on 26.08.2024 apprehended two criminals during night hours while attempting to commit theft in one of the closed house at Firguem Bhat, Goa Velha, Tiswadi Goa based on the live CCTV camera footage provided by the owner of the said house presently residing in UK to the complainant namely Francisco S/o Pascoal De Sousa R/o H.No.266/A, Portel Bhat, Batim, Tiswadi Goa.
Among the two accused, one of the accused namely Rustam @ Suhag S/o Abdu Haq R/o H.No.923, Adarsh Nagar, Baghranp, Lni, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh N/o Bangladesh is a habitual criminal involved in most of the heinous crimes in the state of Goa and recently on 06.08.2024 after getting released from Tihar Jail, committed the said offense along with his accomplice namely Mijanur S/o Sohrab Husainmulla R/o Raniganj 3 number, Jyotishpur, Thana-Basanti, 24 Paraganas, West Bengal.
As per PI Agacaim Shri. Anant A Gaonkar on 26.08.2024 registered an FIR vide Agacaim PS Cr No.49/2024 U/sec 305(a),331(4),62 R/w 3(5) of BNS, and during the course of investigation has attached the Honda Scooter bearing reg. No.GA-07-AE-5933 and a Bag pack containing tools in it used by them in the commission of said crime. Accused after being arrested were produced before JMFC Panaji and were remanded 01 day Police Custody.
As per the details obtain so far the said accused namely Rustam @ Suhag S/o Abdu Haq is having following cases registered against him in the state of Goa.
1) Ponda Police Station – IPC/7/2018 U/sec 395.
2) Mapusa Police Station- IPC/484/2020(Absconding) U/sec 380 r/w 34 IPC.
3) Porvorim Police Station- IPC/595/2020 U/sec 454, 457, 380 r/w 34 IPC.
4) Pernem Police Station- IPC/136/2017 U/sec 395 IPC.
5) Old Goa Police Station- SCORS/3/2018 U/Sec 395, 201 IPC.
And in the state of Delhi at Delhi Special cell the said accused person is having offense registered U/sec 186,353,307,482 IPC R/w 25, 27 of Arms Act.
