On 16.10.2023 Calangute Police received information from sources that one person will come to deliver narcotic substance to his prospective customers at near Dolphin Circle, Naikawado Calangute Bardez Goa, accordingly the team headed by PSI Viraj Naik was formed and successfully conducted raid and found in the possession of accused person N V Krishna Reddy S/o Jagan Mohan Reddy, age-27 yeas, R/o 31-140, Main Road, Burugagudem, Reddigudem, Krishna, Andra Pradesh-521215, 6.100 kg of greenish colour leafy substance suspected to be Ganja all worth Rs. 6,10,000/- approximately.
Accused person N V Krishna Reddy r/o Andra Pradesh was placed under arrest under the provisions of NDPS Act 1985 and his Police Custody remand is being obtained to find out source of the sized narcotic drugs. Further investigation is in progress.
Police Team consisting of PSI Viraj Naik, PC-6118 Amir Garad, PC-7119 Ganpat Tiloji and PC-7346 Akshay Kamurlekar, did excellent job in apprehending the above accused persons and recovering narcotic substance from them worth Rs. 6,10,000/- approximately.
Further investigation is in progress under the supervision of PI Shri Paresh G Naik and SDPO Porvorim Shri Vishwesh Karpe
