CANACONA POLICE ARREST A NATIVE OF TAMIL NADU FOR POSSESSING 3.6-KG OF GANJA WORTH RS 3.5 LAKH
MARGAO: The Canacona police conducted a raid at Palolem and arrested Kalicharan (34), a native of Tamil Nadu for possessing 3.6-kg of ganja worth Rs 3.5 lakh on early Monday morning.
SP South, Pankaj Kumar Singh said that upon information a raid was conducted at Palolem and the police recovered 3.6-kg of ganja from the possession of Kalicharan. The value of seized narcotics is Rs 3.5 lakh.
The raid was conducted by Canacona PI Pravin Gawas and his staff.
A case has been registered against the accused under section 20 (b)(ii) (A) of Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
