CASH AND DVR STOLEN FROM SE CATHEDRAL, OLD GOA

PANAJI: Unidentified persons entered into office of Se Cathedral, Old Goa on Saturday night and stole Rs 55,000 and one DVR unit.

Se Cathedral parish priest Fr Alfred Vaz in his police complaint stated that the thieves entered in by cutting the window grills and broke open the window and decamped with cash, which was kept inside the drawer of the table. The accused also stole a DVR (digital video recorder) unit.

The Old Goa police have registered the case under section 457 and 380 of IPC and PSI Chetan Saulekar is conducting investigations under the guidance of Old Goa PI Krishna Sinari.
