The Executive Engineer of Division-XXVIII (Bridges) PWD, Fatorda, Margao-Goa, Incharge of Highway stretch for NH-66 has issued order for closure of the Old and New Mandovi Bridge on December 9, 2023 between 6.00 a.m. to 9.00 a.m. (total 03 hrs) for the maintenance of the bridge.
During the closure, heavy traffic is to be diverted via Atal Setu and light vehicles via New Mandovi bridge.
The work of Recording of deck levels of the Old and New Mandovi Bridge on NH-17(66) across river Mandovi at Panaji-Goa is started for which there is a need to close the Old and New Mandovi Bridge on December 9, 2023 between 6.00 a.m. to 9.00 a.m. (total 03 hrs.)
During closure of Old Mandovi Bridge the light vehicles are to be diverted via New Mandovi Bridge (Both Ways) and heavy traffic via Atal Setu (Both Ways). Similarly during closure of New Mandovi Bridge heavy traffic to be diverted via Atal Setu (Both Ways) and light traffic to be diverted via Old Mandovi Bridge (Both Ways)
