CM HOLD SERIES OF MEETINGS IN NEW DELHI
PANAJI: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant on Monday held a series of meetings with Union Ministers and others in New Delhi and discussed on various developmental works in the State.
In the morning, Dr. Sawant met Pravir Krishna, IAS, and managing director of TRIFED (Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India Limited) and discussed the implementation of various tribal welfare schemes in the State with a special focus on PM Van Dhan Yojana to promote tribal enterprises.
He then met Union Minister for culture and tourism Prahlad Patel and discussed various matters related to tourism promotion in the State especially cultural tourism with support from the Centre. He also invited Patel for the 60th Goa Liberation day celebrations.
Later, the Chief Minister met Minister for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying Giriraj Singh and discussed various initiatives to scale up the production in dairy and fisheries sector.
Chief Secretary Parimal Rai also accompanied the Chief Minister in some of the meetings in the national capital.
