Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant attended and addressed the inaugural function of the Workshop on Cyber Security & Cyber Law organized by Department of Political Science, Govt College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Sankhali in collaboration with Directorate of Higher Education, Manohar Parrikar School of Law, Governance & Public Policy, UGC Center for the Study of Social Inclusion to commemorate the Constitution Day.
HCM said that workshops like these provide an excellent platform for students, educators, and professionals to gain insights into the principles of cyber hygiene, secure digital practices, and the evolving legal frameworks addressing cybercrime. He encouraged the youth to explore career opportunities in cybersecurity and digital law, areas that hold immense potential for growth and innovation.
HCM congratulated the Government College Sankhali and all collaborating institutions for organizing this insightful workshop. He expressed confidence that it will leave a lasting impact on all participants and contribute to making Goa a model state in cybersecurity and digital resilience.
