The Government has approved the establishment of a new Zonal Agriculture Office for Mormugao Taluka. The new office for Mormugao Taluka will function in the premises of Panchayat Market Complex, second floor, Cortalim, Goa. At present the farmers of Mormugao Taluka are served by the Zonal Agriculture Office, Salcete at Margao.
The inaugural function of the newly established office will be held on July 7, 2023 at 10.30am at the hands of Chief Minister of Goa Dr. Pramod Sawant in the presence of Agriculture Minister Shri. Ravi Naik, Panchayat Minister Shri. Mauvin Godinho, Cortalim MLA Shri. Antonio Vaz, MLA’s Shri. Sankalp Amonkar, Shri. Krishna Daji Salkar , Zilla Panchayat member Smt. Merciana Vas and Sarpanch of Cortalim Panchayat Smt. Senia Pereira.
